Return & Credit Request Policy

At Wholesale Select, we aim to provide every customer with quality products, accurate orders, and reliable delivery service. To ensure fair handling of returns and credits, the following policy applies to all orders placed through our website, email, or trade accounts.

1. General Conditions

• All requests for return or credit must be submitted in writing using the official Return & Credit Request Form or by email to sales@wholesaleselect.com.au.

• The request must include invoice details, product codes, quantities, and clear reasons for the return or credit.

• Requests must be made within 5 days of receiving the goods.

• Claims for delivery discrepancies, shortages, or damages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of delivery.

• Any claims made outside these timeframes will not be accepted.

2. Eligibility for Returns and Credits

Returns or credits may be approved only under the following conditions:

• Incorrect goods or quantities were supplied by Wholesale Select.

• Goods were damaged during delivery and reported within 24 hours of receipt.

• Products supplied were faulty, expired, or not as described.

Items not meeting these conditions are generally not eligible for return or credit.

3. Non-Returnable Products

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

• Perishable goods, including food and confectionery.

• Opened, used, or partially consumed products.

• Custom or special-order items not held in regular stock.

• Any product not in its original, unopened, and undamaged packaging.

4. Restocking Fees

• Returns of correctly supplied goods (where Wholesale Select is not at fault) may incur a 12.5% restocking fee.

• Goods must be returned in resaleable condition and accompanied by the original invoice.

• All freight costs associated with return of goods are the customer’s responsibility, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Credit Processing

• Once goods are received, inspected, and approved for return, a credit note will be issued to the customer’s account.

• Credits cannot be used for cash refunds; they may be applied to future purchases or outstanding balances.

• If the return is due to an error by Wholesale Select, full credit including freight (if applicable) will be applied.

6. Delivery Discrepancies

• Customers are required to check all deliveries immediately upon receipt.

• Any discrepancies such as missing cartons, damaged packaging, or incorrect items must be reported to our Customer Service team within 24 hours.

• Claims made after this period will not be accepted.

• Where possible, photographic evidence should be provided to support claims.

7. Freight and Risk

• All goods remain at the customer’s risk once delivered to the nominated address.

• Returns must be freight-paid by the customer unless otherwise authorised by Wholesale Select.

• Wholesale Select will not accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit when returned by the customer.

8. Customer Responsibilities

• Customers must ensure goods are stored correctly upon receipt to maintain product quality.

• It is the customer’s responsibility to verify quantities and conditions before signing for delivery.

• Goods returned without prior written approval or without a valid Return & Credit Request number may be refused.

9. Refunds

• Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of management.

• Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
